Red Wine sauce

Ingredients:
1 dl red wine – 0.5 dl red port or 1 tbsp apple syrup - 2 shallots - 1 clove garlic - 3 sprigs thyme stripped from stalks - 5 dl VOL5.

Preparation:

  • Cut the shallots into thin slices or cubes.
  • Finely slice the garlic and chop the thyme.
  • Sweat the shallots with the garlic and thyme and deglaze with wine and red port.
  • Boil into a syrup.
  • Add VOL5 and cook as desired.
