Red Wine sauce
1 dl red wine – 0.5 dl red port or 1 tbsp apple syrup - 2 shallots - 1 clove garlic - 3 sprigs thyme stripped from stalks - 5 dl VOL5.
- Cut the shallots into thin slices or cubes.
- Finely slice the garlic and chop the thyme.
- Sweat the shallots with the garlic and thyme and deglaze with wine and red port.
- Boil into a syrup.
- Add VOL5 and cook as desired.
